Abington Memorial Hospital was the first acute-care hospital in the region to be named a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence (2003), and was re-designated in 2008 by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. The hospital also received the Magnet Prize in 2008 for its Daily Care Plan.

Our employees have created a culture of respect and professionalism, which was recognized by The Philadelphia Business Journal in 2008. AMH was named one of the “Best Places to Work” in the region, and The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Neighbors Choice Award honored AMH as “Best Hospital in Montgomery County.” Most recently, AMH received a “Healthy Workplace Award” from the Philadelphia Business Journal (2010).
