Joint Replacement Education Classes
The Orthopaedic and Spine Institute is committed to providing an exceptional experience for your joint replacement. As a requirement for your surgery, you will attend a Preadmission Center appointment approximately two weeks before the date you are scheduled for surgery. This appointment will include all necessary testing and a 45-minute joint replacement education class in order to prepare you for your surgery and recovery. Abington Memorial Hospital will contact you to make arrangements for your appointment. Expect to spend either the morning or afternoon depending on your scheduled appointment time in order to complete the above. Please complete all necessary forms prior to arrival to avoid delays.

You are welcome to join surgical patients in our 45-minute joint replacement education class for an overview of what to expect.
