Community Tradition

Abington Memorial Hospital has a long tradition of growth to support our community's needs. As we grew, we continued to expand our physical plant and add critically needed beds, operating rooms, and trauma facilities. A day care center for employees' children is available on site at Abington.

Top-Notch Schools and Services

The Dixon School of Nursing, the Abington Fitness Institute, outpatient radiology and other testing, physician offices, outpatient psychiatry, conference rooms and other services are located at the Abington Health Center – Schilling Campus in Willow Grove. Abington Health Center – Warminster Campus offers a wide variety of outpatient testing services, an OB/GYN Center, and physician offices. It is also home to the Institute for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and a Sleep Disorders Center.

Residency Programs

The hospital has an active residency program with about 120 residents annually in dentistry, family medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology and surgery. Our medical staff numbers more than 900 physicians, over 90 percent of whom are board certified in their specialties. Almost 100 primary care physicians within Abington Health Physicians have offices conveniently located throughout the neighborhoods we serve.
