We offer practical guidelines and instruction on food selection and preparation that will help you achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Our program offerings include the following:
Individual counseling sessions: One-hour counseling sessions are provided for a full assessment of your nutrition needs. A personal nutrition program is designed to meet your goals.
Three-session programs: To provide a more in-depth personal program, a three-session program is available. This would include a one-hour initial session and two half-hour follow-up sessions.
Eight-session weight control program: One-on-one counseling for eight sessions to provide the skills and knowledge for designing a lifetime of good nutrition and weight control. Includes an initial one-hour session and seven half-hour follow-up sessions.
Complete Professional Services
Whatever your particular needs are, the professional counseling of our registered dietitians offers information, education and training for therapeutic diets, various medical conditions and preventative wellness counseling.
In addition to these personalized programs, the Nutrition Counseling Center offers wellness seminars for community and professional groups.
Each of our services has one goal in mind...to help you live healthier. We recognize that a healthy diet can help reduce the risk of disease, prevent complications associated with pre-existing conditions, and increase your energy-as well as enhance your self-image and general sense of well being.
The cost of the counseling sessions may qualify for insurance reimbursement depending on the diagnosis and if your physician prescribes them. If you have questions regarding reimbursement for medical nutrition therapy, please check with your insurance company to determine if your visit will be paid for. It is the client's responsibility to verify insurance coverage.
