Supporting Faculty

  • Greater than 50 OB/GYN physicians, including sub-specialists in maternal fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, gynecologic oncology, and urogynecology
  • A core faculty group dedicated to the education of students and residents
  • ACGME accredited residency program approved for 5 residents per year

3rd year Clerkship

  • Students:
    • DUCOM: 2 per 6 week block
    • TUH: 5-6 per 6 week block
    • PCOM: 1 per 4 week block

        • 2 weeks inpatient GYN
        • 1 week inpatient OB
        • 1 week outpatient clinic
        • 1 week oncology
        • 1 week night-float (4PM – 8:30AM)
    • PCOM students
      • 1 week inpatient OB
      • 1 week night-float (Sun-Thurs 7pm to 8am)
      • 1 week gynecology
      • 1 week outpatient clinic
  • Lectures
    • 15 student core lectures, faculty delivered
    • Morning conference held daily
    • Schwartz Rounds: 2nd Wednesday of every month except Dec., July & August
  • Call and weekends
    • No weekday or overnight call

4th Year Sub Internship

4th Year Electives

  • Consult your school course guide or contact Ms. Dunn for availability. Electives are arranged through Temple University Hospital, but available to students from other institutions.
