• 4  outpatient pediatricians
• 2-3 family medicine residents
• 4 pediatric nurse practitioners, nursery service

3rd Year Clerkship

• Students
  • DUCOM: 2 per block
• Structure
  • 2 weeks inpatient (CHOP Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine) with allocation of time to emergency room coverage
  • 2 weeks newborn service with allocation of time to the Corinne Santerian Newborn Center and (if desired) in the newborn intensive care unit (NICU)
  • 2 weeks outpatient private practice
• Lectures
  • Thursday 7:45am AMH Chairman Round’s
  • Tuesday 2pm conference at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children
  • Students return to DUCOM for a weekly pediatric conference.
  • Schwartz Rounds: 2nd Wednesday of every month except Dec., July & August
• Call and Weekends
  • No night call or weekend rounds.
