Founded in 1983, the Abington Health Center — Schilling Campus has emerged as a major satellite of Abington Memorial Hospital, offering many hospital services including healthcare programs, medical and administrative offices and conference and educational facilities. The center is conveniently situated for community members who live north of the hospital and offers ample free parking.
The 40-acre campus, comprised of five buildings, represents a total 246,000 square feet of office space. More than 600 hospital employees now work at the health center.
Directions and Transportation
Located only 10 minutes north of the hospital, Abington Health Center — Schilling Campus is one-half mile from Route 611 (Easton Road). The center has entrances at 2701 Blair Mill Road and at 2500 Maryland Road. The entrance to the Creekwood Center is at 3941 Commerce Avenue. From the Pennsylvania Turnpike, take exit 343. Go north (toward Doylestown) on Route 611 and turn left at Blair Mill Road. Or, go south on 611 (toward Abington) and immediately turn right on Maryland Road and the entrance to 2500 Maryland Road will be on the right.
Public Transportation
Northwood, Blairwood, and Creekwood Buildings - take SEPTA bus 55 to the corner of Easton and Blair Mill Roads, and walk west on Blair Mill Road, or take the bus to Willow Grove Park, and transfer to Breeze 310, which will stop across the street.
Willowood and Pennwood Buildings - take SEPTA bus 55 to the corner of Easton and Blair Mill Roads, and walk west on Maryland Road. Call SEPTA at 215-580-7800 for schedules.
