Abington Memorial Hospital Wins TrueNorth Award for Perioperative Nurse Certification Excellence

ABINGTON, PA (March 26, 2013) — Abington Memorial Hospital (AMH) earned the Competency & Credentialing Institute’s (CCI) 2013 TrueNorth Award for the Surgical Services Department’s commitment to advanced nursing credentialing.

AMH, boasts an 87.5 percent CNOR certification rate among perioperative nurse leadership, and 46 percent of its eligible OR nursing staff are certified.
