About the Hospital

Lansdale Hospital is a 135-bed, acute care hospital providing a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient healthcare services. The facility includes a 24-hour emergency department, an 18 bed Orthopaedic and Spine Institute, a 7-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit, a Sleep Center, and a Wound Care Center.

Home to over 600 employees, Lansdale Hospital has a staff of more than 300 active physicians. Physicians are supported by a dedicated team of professional nurses who draw from years of clinical experience and training.

Lansdale Hospital offers a sophisticated array of clinical programs, including: orthopaedic & spine surgery, interventional radiology, comprehensive diabetes treatment, oncology,  physical rehabilitation, outpatient surgery, cardiology, sleep center, ophthalmology, podiatry, oral surgery and 24-hour emergency services.

As a trusted healthcare provider, Lansdale Hospital handles nearly 6,000 inpatient admissions per year - while outpatient visits number close to 60,000. In addition, over 26,000 people are treated each year in the hospital's emergency department.

Convenient Location

Lansdale Hospital is located just outside of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, approximately 24 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Nestled in the heart of Montgomery County, Lansdale is one of the six boroughs that make up the area known as North Penn, one of the region's most prosperous and desirable locations.

According to recent demographic information, Lansdale is home to an estimated 51,000 residents. However, Lansdale Hospital serves all of the North Penn communities, as well as parts of neighboring Bucks County, for a total patient base nearing 200,000.

Abington Memorial Hospital

Abington Memorial Hospital is an independent 665-bed, acute care teaching hospital with a medical staff of more than 900 physicians and over 5,600 employees. These professionals provide medical care and health services to residents of Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.

A regional provider, Abington Memorial Hospital has the only Level II accredited trauma center in Montgomery County and offers highly specialized services in cardiac care, cancer care, maternal child health and surgery.
