Billing
Basic Daily Charge
The basic daily charge for your accommodation covers room, linen, diets and nourishment, nursing, use of equipment and instruments and some minor medications and medical supplies.
Other Charges
In addition to your room rate, which is based on the type of accommodation you select or is available, there are other charges for services that are specifically ordered by your physician. Among these are: laboratory, X-ray and electro-cardiographic studies, the use of the operating or delivery rooms, drugs, medical/surgical and anesthesia supplies, oxygen and inhalation therapy.
When you require the services of an anesthesiologist, a radiologist, an emergency physician, or other specialist or consultant, they will render a bill for professional services independently of the hospital and your attending physician.
Hospital Bill
You will be billed for the day you are admitted regardless of the time you enter the hospital. Hospital charges not covered by insurance are billed to you. If you would like further explanation of hospital charges, please call the hospital operator and request the telephone number for our billing office.
Lansdale Hospital accepts most insurance, as well as Medicare and Medical Assistance (Medicaid) payments. Cards should be shown to the Patient Access representative at the time of admission. All copays and deductibles are expected to be paid at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept major credit cards, checks or cash.
