Lansdale Hospital offers a variety of special services to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. These special services include the following:
Problem Resolution
Lansdale Hospital is committed to exceeding patient expectations. If there is a problem, discuss it with your nurse or the nurse manager/designee, who is responsible for what happens on the nursing unit. You may also contact Administration at 215-361-4400 to report any concerns about care, treatment or service.
Patient Education
Lansdale Hospital is committed to providing you with information about your illness or other topics. Information is available from your physician, nurse, or other health care providers.
Notary Public
The services of a notary are available for patients free of charge. For information call Administration at 215-361-4400.
Mail, Flowers and Balloons
Mail and flowers are delivered daily to the Information Desk. These will be brought to your room. Outgoing mail may be given to your nurse, left at the nursing station or deposited in the mailbox located outside the main lobby. Stamps may be purchased from the Gift Shop. Latex balloons are not permitted, but mylar balloons are acceptable.
Newspapers
Newspapers may be purchased at the main entrance to the Hospital or the Gift Shop. You may also have a newspaper brought to your room by calling the Gift Shop at 215-361-4618 or Volunteer Services at 215-361-4619.
Library Cart
A library cart is brought to patient rooms by Hospital volunteers, who have books and magazines available for your use.
For the Hearing-Impaired
A telecommunications device is available to help hearing-impaired patients or patients who want to communicate with a hearing-impaired relative or friend. Arrangements can also be made to have a sign-language expert assist a hearing-impaired or deaf patient. For assistance, ask your nurse to make arrangements. On weekends, evenings and holidays, call the Nursing Supervisor at 215-361-4530.
Interpreters
The Hospital has access to interpreters for a number of foreign languages should a patient require it. Please call 215-361-4530 for assistance.
Support Groups
