Lung disease is the number three killer in America, responsible for one in seven deaths. Lung disease and other breathing problems are the number one killer of babies younger than one year old. Today, more than 30 million Americans are living with chronic lung disease such as asthma, emphysema and chronic bronchitis.

The Pulmonary medical staff diagnoses and treats:

Lansdale Hospital provides comprehensive Pulmonary Evaluations through an array of:

• Pulmonary Function Tests
• Arterial Blood Gas analysis
• Diagnostic Bronchoscope procedures
• Oximetry
• Sleep Study Procedures

The Hospital also offers a comprehensive Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program. You may be a candidate if you have been diagnosed with COPD (asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema), Lung Cancer, and Cystic Fibrosis or have respiratory problems related to cardiovascular disease or surgery.
