Parenting Education:
Educational Workshops

Educational workshops are structured programs that provide parents information on specific topics and skills of emotionally healthy parenting. Parents become familiar with the use of helpful tips and tools which are consistent with meeting their children's and family's needs. They are also introduced to the foundational information which underlies the effective use of these skills. There is the opportunity for parents to share their stories and hear other parents' perspectives as well as gain an understanding about the principles related to the workshop topic. These workshops are lead by two Certified Parenting Educators. Each workshop includes formal presentation and interactive exercises.

Listed below are Parenting Educational workshops for fall 2008, presented by The Center for Parenting Education, and include course descriptions, dates, times, locations, and fees.

Pre-registration is required. To register, please call The Center for Parenting Education at 215-657-5720, or go to the Center's website and register online.

Fee waivers for the educational workshops are available if needed.
