School and Community Education
Concussions can occur in any sport or activity. Coaches, trainers, school staff, athletes, students and parents need to know how to recognize concussion and respond when it happens.
The Concussion Program provides free educational sessions at your school about concussion and traumatic head injury. Sessions are available for athletic and school staff, student athletes and families, presented by trauma nurses or doctors who specialize in diagnosing concussion.
We help schools create concussion education programs, to better implement The Pennsylvania Safety in Youth Sports Act. We are also available to assist in proctoring baseline ImPACT testing for concussion.
