Stroke Treatment & Support

The Diamond Stroke Center at Abington Memorial Hospital provides rapid diagnosis and emergent treatment and management of patients with acute stroke. The center is committed to teaching people in our community about stroke's warning signs and stroke prevention. Our team fights stroke 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We're proud to be a Primary Stroke Center, certified by the Joint Commission for meeting high quality standards. We are also proud that we earned recertification as a primary stroke center for another two year period in March 2008. (See Stroke Awards)
