Prostate Cancer
Our comprehensive team of board-certified cancer experts uses the latest technology for treating prostate cancer. These highly experienced physicians include medical oncologists, urologists, cancer surgeons and radiation oncologists, working together for the best outcomes.

We also have expertise in advising when active monitoring or “watchful waiting” surveillance may be more appropriate for certain patients than immediate treatment.
Through our Prostate Evaluation Program (PEP), experts in urology and radiation therapy evaluate men who have a prostate nodule or elevated PSA and discuss treatment options for men diagnosed with prostate cancer. For more information about this service, please call 215-481-MALE (6253).
We care about you and your experience here. The prostate cancer nurse navigator, Michael Schumacher, is available for help and support at 215-481-MALE (6253) or mschumacher@amh.org.
Our Man-to-Man Networking Group for men with prostate cancer provides education and encouragement to men diagnosed with prostate cancer. The group, co-sponsored with the American Cancer Society, meets the second Wednesday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. To learn more, contact Michael Schumacher as detailed above.
