Abington Health Clinics

Health Services for the Uninsured and Underinsured

Abington Health is fully committed to ensuring that all members of its communities have access to the care they need. As such, it provides a full range of programs and services for anyone who may not have the financial means to obtain care. A generous financial assistance policy  is available to patients who meet federal guidelines. Medically-necessary healthcare services are available to all individuals in a non-discriminatory manner regardless of race, color, creed, gender, sexual preference, national origin or ability to pay.

In addition to 24/7 emergency treatment, several clinics offer both primary and specialty services to families who are in need of care but unable to pay. Following are listings of those programs, as well as other programs in the area with which Abington Health is a partner.

Primary Care

North Hills Health Center

Low cost, non-emergency medical care and services, as well as free support groups and education programs. Services include:

  • Routine checkups for infants, children, teens, adults and seniors
  • Well and sick visits
  • Immunizations for infants, children and adults
  • Physical exams needed for school, work or driver’s exam
  • Care for chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, asthma and high blood pressure
  • Comprehensive women’s health care
  • Referrals for specialty physicians, laboratory services and radiology testing

Patients are seen by scheduled appointment. Social work services include medications and insurance assistance. Korean bilingual staff on-site scheduled during week. For more information, click here.

Home Health Care

Abington’s Home Care department provides a full range of healthcare services in the home, including therapeutic treatment, wound care, patient and family education, medication administration and more. Other services include palliative and hospice care, physical, occupational and speech therapies, home health aides and social services. Collaboration with Other Clinics

Services include: HIV testing and counseling; sexually transmitted disease screening and treatment; tuberculosis screening and treatment. Mondays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. No appointment necessary.
