Family Medicine

The family physician provides comprehensive health care for all members of the family, from infants through senior citizens. From their offices throughout the community, our family practitioners emphasize preventive medical care, encompassing every aspect of the patient's health. When appropriate, they admit or refer patients to Abington Memorial Hospital for further care.

As members of the medical staff of Abington Memorial Hospital, our board-certified family physicians are regularly involved in continuing medical education activities and the education of physicians in the Family Medicine Residency Program. Abington Family Medicine is a family medicine center staffed by family physicians and resident physicians in training. Many of our family physicians are also active in occupational medicine programs, providing preventive health maintenance, administering employee assistance programs and caring for on-the-job injuries.
