Abington Memorial Hospital's Creekwood Partial Hospital Program is a short-term intensive psychiatric treatment program for adults. The program utilizes structured groups in a day treatment setting to stabilize acute psychiatric symptoms. The program operates from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The Partial Program uses a multidisciplinary treatment team composed of psychiatrists, social workers and case managers experienced in evaluation and treatment of behavioral health problems.
Program Goals
- Prevent decomposition/need for inpatient hospitalization.
- Transition from inpatient by providing further stabilization.
- Provide a structured and safe therapeutic environment.
- Support/education for coping with acute psychiatric symptoms.
- Provide linkage to community and other resources.

The Creekwood Center is located only 10 minutes north of Abington Memorial Hospital at the Abington Health Center — Schilling Campus, one half mile from Route 611. Direct access to the center's parking lot is on Commerce Avenue.
