Abington Memorial Hospital's Muller Center for Senior Health helps people enjoy healthy, productive lives as they age.

The Muller Center brings together the hospital's outstanding inpatient, outpatient, community outreach and long-term care services for our senior patients. In addition, academic teaching and research activities are linked with the center and new services and educational opportunities for physicians and other healthcare professionals are offered.

The center was named in honor of the late C. John Muller, who, at age 92, made a generous gift to enhance the hospital's geriatric services.

The Muller Center for Senior Health has a focus on physician training in geriatric care. Skilled staff and an outstanding program make Abington Memorial Hospital an ideal place for Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians to receive advanced training in caring for elderly patients. The hospital's Geriatric Medicine fellowship is the only such program in Chester, Montgomery and Bucks counties accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, according to Mary T. Hofmann, M.D., chief, Geriatric Medicine Division and fellowship director, and medical director, Muller Center for Senior Health at Abington.
